Joe Biden Successor: Is Hilary Clinton Donald Trump's Opponent?

With talks about Joe Biden stepping down from the Presidential race, the question of who is best suited to replace him is currently stirring up the United States polity.

Will Hillary Clinton Succeed Joe Biden?

A few people have weighed in on the discussion, suggesting Hillary Rodham Clinton, a former United States Secretary of State and US First Lady.

The 76-year-old Democrat served as the 67th U.S. Secretary of State under the administration of Barack Obama. In terms of age, an opinion writer from The Hill noted that Clinton is younger than both Joe Biden and Trump who are 81-year-old and 78-year-old respectively. Ordinarily, it would be expected that she has more energy and stamina than the older men.

Her resume, knowledge and past depth of experience are perceived as tools that she could use to transform the American economy. In all her roles including secretary of State and U.S. senator to first lady and Children’s Defense Fund attorney, Clinton has demonstrated tenacity and a knack for change. She not only have a good understanding of domestic affairs but international affairs as well.

In 2016, she ran for the position of president against Donald Trump. However, some emails surfaced that ended up jeopardizing her chances. As of today, Clinton has been cleared of those charges. Unlike President Biden who was already losing to Trump per the last debate, Clinton is favored to take down Trump at 43% to 41%.

As a front-row spectator in 2020, it is believed that Clinton might have strategized properly with working campaign strategy. Finance is also not likely to be a constraint for her.

Clinton Does Not Support Crypto

If the onus eventually falls on her, it is not certain if she will follow the flow. This is considering the fact that Clinton and her husband, former President Bill Clinton allegedly support the White House ambition of President Joe Biden. One similarity that exist between Clinton and Biden is their anti-crypto policies.

She once said that Bitcoin has the potential to undermine the Dollar as a reserve currency. By this statement, the politician was talking about the potential consequences of digital currencies on de-dollarization. At the time, Galaxy Digital CEO Mike Novogratz was quick to disagree with her but this has still not impacted her anti-crypto sentiments.

On the basis of her lack of love for crypto, Donald Trump may still have an edge over her.

Despite this ongoing discussions about the replacement, Biden is yet to officially announce his withdrawal from the presidential race. He has not announced any critical medical condition, which was the only criteria Biden attached to step down from the presidential race.
