Phishing Attack That Had Drained $55 Million Of DAI, Now Laundered Through ETH Transactions

On a large-scale phishing attack, in which the bad actor was able to siphon off 55.4 million DAI from a wallet, now quickly changed part of the funds to 6,958.7 ETH, which is approximately $20 million and then split the amount into 10 other wallet addresses in what seems to be an attempt to wash the money, according to PeckShield alerts. This attack is one of the biggest single instances of phishing this year, and this figure clearly shows how vulnerable wallets are to fake links and addresses. People who own cryptocurrencies are urged to be more cautious, check the security threats, and always make sure the information is authentic before finalizing the transaction.
