SEC Chair Gary Gensler gives his final suggestions on crypto rules

Gary Gensler has made suggestions about SEC regulation of digital assets before Trump’s administration takes hold with their high priorities regarding cryptocurrencies.

On Thursday, an annual securities regulation conference was held in New York. In this legal conference, Gensler re-stated that the SEC should focus on “rules of the road” regarding crypto sales and arbitrators like brokers and exchange for proper transparency.

Gensler said, “Court after the court has agreed with our actions to protect investors and rejected all arguments that the SEC cannot enforce the law when securities are being offered — whatever their form”. He claimed that Bitcoin isn’t a security itself, however, he promoted SEC’s legal wins related to crypto investment products.
